Commissioned by GastroBern, we developed the HOTELMAN business simulation. In a realistic and playful fashion, the game players taking part in HOTELMAN increase their knowledge of strategic and operative management. The players take over a hotel as the new management team. At the same time, other hotels are attempting to establish themselves in the market. With marketing, quality of products and services, and also with pricing policies, the enterprises attempt to increase their number of guests and gain regular patrons.
Thanks to the assessments after each round of the simulation, the game players reflect on their own decisions and bring the knowledge they have gained to the new simulation year. HOTELMAN promotes systematic thinking in a lively manner, and enables a better evaluation of the consequences of decisions.
